A plein air event in Laguna Beach, CA just popped up this week to commemorate World Art Day that happened April 15th, 2024. The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association hosted a quick, one day gathering of member artists to paint a local scene on location, frame it, and hang it all on the same day!

Using only black and white, I paint a monochrome oil sketch of a faceted head. This is a short excerpt from the full twenty-minute video.
